The Nyamwamba river, still swollen one week after it burst its banks and flooded much of Kilembe and Kasese in May 2013.

A house full of mud in Congo Quarter - the residents are now sleeping in a relief camp at a local primary school.

 
On 1st May 2013 the Nyamwamba river carved itself out a new valley
 right through the middle of Kilembe, Congo Quarter, Base Camp and other parts of Kasese.  There used to be a house and vegetable gardens here.
